Platform questions

Frequently asked questions.

How is Marine Forge different from generic job management software?

Marine Forge starts from customers, vessels, engines, technicians, marine workflows and service history. Generic trade software starts from vehicles or generic tasks and has marine work bent to fit it, which is why the workarounds appear in stock, agreements and reporting.

Do we have to use every part of it?

No. Modules are activated according to the operation. A mobile mechanic, a shipwright, a slipway and a dealership do not get the same interface, and a business that does not run a slipway never sees slipway functionality.

How many users are included?

Unlimited users are included, so putting the whole team on it is not a per seat decision.

Is there a lock in contract?

No. There is no lock in contract.

Can technicians use it on a phone or tablet?

Yes. Technicians work from mobile job cards on a phone or a shared workshop tablet, recording labour, parts, notes, photos and checklists against the job where the work happens.
